I have a script that helps me gather Tweets once per week from several accounts. This week it wasn’t working, so I gave both o3 and Claude 4 the script, the config file, and a few sample URLs to see if Twitter changed their search filter URL structure.
o3 launched an incredibly detailed trouble shooting process, dug under every nook and cranny of Twiter and my Python and was determined to find the bug. We chatted for a long time, before I decided to check on Claude’s findings.
Claude 4 had replied “I can see a clear issue in the URLs you’ve provided – the dates are set to 2026, which is in the future! The URLs show searches for June 2026 , but we’re currently in July 2025.”
That’s because my script prompts me for the date, and I put the wrong year.
search?q=(from%3Aemollick)%20until%3A2026-06-26%20since%3A2026-06-19%20-filter%3Areplies&src=typed_query&f=live
Heck yeah, Claude.
