Every week I make a cover for my newsletter, and I incorporate as much AI as possible. This week’s cover is meant to showcase ElevenLab’s noise reduction tool – a man singing in front of a jet engine. I try to use the same font as the company or pop culture reference of the week. Rather than go to fontsinuse (a website for font research), I pasted the ElevenLabs logo into GPT and asked for the font. Below is a screenshot of the cover, as I’m making it. The ElevenLabs logo is along GPT’s suggested fonts, Montserrat and Proxima Nova. In this case, I didn’t even give GPT the image; I just pasted a link to the PNG. Once I pick a font, I’ll change the copy to the newsletter title.


I gave Perplexity a try, and it guessed Neue Haas Grotesk Display. That’s close but not as close as Proxima Nova. The lower case e is the most glaring difference, but the general style of font is a good answer from Perplexity. In solid Dunning-Kruger fashion, Perplexity gladly creates an incorrect page for me to share… LOL. See below:
