The Like button came out on February 9, 2009. Each person’s Facebook feed was still available as an RSS feed until mid-to-late 2010. I used to read Facebook like an inbox on Google Reader. I’d forgotten about Digg… definitely forgotten about StumbleUpon. Stumble’s creator, Garrett Camp, went on to co-found Uber, so I assume he didn’t starve.
