I would like to know how much these five AI leaders are talking about AGI behind the scenes. I think DeepSeek-V3 shook up a lot of people last month. Maybe it’s a coincidence that DeepSeek-R1 came out on inauguration day. One day later, Stargate was announced. As my good friend asked me, “What if this entire thing is a Stranger Things operation?” One thing is for sure: 2025 is going to be a wild ride as society fails to keep pace with artificial intelligence. I’m talking real, science-fiction-level AI, not chat-bots and deep fakes. And yes, I drew a curly cue mustache on Elon, because he’s a man-child and would do the same.
