If you get lab work done, I highly recommend giving it to o3. MyChart is currently horrible. It’s run by a company called Epic. There is no way to easily export lab data. I had to print my data as a PDF four separate times. Thankfully o3 is multimodal and simply read the PDF reports and distilled the information like a person would.

I’m always rooting for people to improve, but MyChart is an opportunity for a newcomer (or a frontier agent like o3 Pro or Gemini) to simply drink Epic’s milkshake and put them out of business, or deprecate them the way smartphones deprecated Garmin car GPS.

o3 gave me an entire sheet of questions to ask my doctor. It found three tests my doctor had not included. It provided me with follow-ups and guidance. It gave me a layperson’s explanation of each test and the concepts. It connected trends and called out what to look for.

Epic is probably sitting on their marketshare feeling pretty secure, but the entire mountain could slide out from under them. Also, look at this homepage. What on earth is going on? I might be an immature 7th grader at heart, but I want my medical records to be run by adults.
